Day Two

Kevin will be on the road within the hour.  I'm going to Niagara Falls to be at the finish line, so this is the last post.  If you want to hear about what's happening, I'll be tweeting at @lmronald, or look for #kevinride. -- L

Just got off the phone with Kevin.  He tried to text me from the 3rd rest stop, but didn't have reception!  He just made it to Mohawk (end point for day one) and is absolutely soaked.  He has acquired a hotel room floor to sleep on rather than camping tonight so he can dry out before Day 2. -- L

Halfway Through Day 1!

Kevin has reached the halfway point and is back on the road.  He is soaked through, but staying positive.

Just got a text from Kevin that he has reached the first rest stop! And has only been rained on a little...  40km down and 120 to go!  Will keep you posted on what's happening as I hear more.
